The Passat is getting a much needed revamp later this year. In addition to an all-new, Benz-inspired design, the Volkswagen Passat CC ($TBA; Q4 2008) offers several innovative assistance systems, such as the Lane Assist lane keeping system; Dynamic Drive Control electronic chassis control system; Park Assist parking assistant; and ACC Automatic Distance Control with stopping distance reducing Front Assist.
The CC, which VW calls its first four-door coupe, also sports a huge, electrically actuated Panorama power vent sunroof. The Passat CC will come standard with the 200-hp 2.0 TSI engine, available with either a 6-speed manual or 6-speed Tiptronic transmission. You can upgrade to the 280-hp 3.6L FSI, which comes standard with the 6-speed Tiptronic transmission. Via: uncrate |
