Veuve Clicquot have launched a new limited edition champagne collection in collaboration with Italian yacht builder Riva, called the La Grande Dame by Riva Collection. Crafted in mahogany, chrome and leather, the Collection comprises three products, the Cruise Collection, the Cruiser Bag and an ice bucket. The Cruise Collection is a US$80,000 made-to-measure piece, built according to the measurements of the buyer’s vessel. The semi-circular shape mirrors the hull of a Riva vessel, and features the same rich woods and sweeping curves that characterize Riva’s fleet of yachts.
The Cruise Collection comes with four bottles of La Grande Dame 98, two magnums of La Grande Dame 88, six Riedel champagne flutes, six water tumblers, plates, tablemats and cutlery. The Cruiser Bag also reflects the design features of Riva’s yachts with its leather accents, chromed lines and a sleek lacquered finish. It includes a bottle of La Grande Dame 98 and two champagne flutes, and will be available in July this year at US$425 in a limited edition of 300 sets.
