Sea Maidens unique crystal vise was made by Erte (Russian 1892 - 1990) in collaboration with Baccarat. The Father of Art Deco and the world’s premier house of luxury crystal, respectively, beget Sea Maidens in 1985 in a limited edition of only 199 pieces. The hand-crafted Sea Maidens luxury crystal vase is adorned with judiciously sculpted gilt bronze twin mermaid handles with Baccarat hand-blown, -cut and -polished crystal vase insert, which are attached to either side by two flared seashells. This beautiful luxury vase requires over 100 separate steps for its creation.
