If one of you wants to startle the woman in your life, blonde or not blonde, with this enchanting gift, then walk into the Hong Kong branch of Christie’s auction house where a rare 101-carat glittering piece of carbon will go under hammer on 28 May this year. The yet to be named squash-ball sized diamond is the biggest white diamond to be auctioned in nearly two decades. The gem that has been cut from a 460-carat South African rough stone is expected to fetch over US $6 million.
