We have seen Runco going wild with its 103-inch Cinema Wall 1080p plasma display and now, the company has released its first flat-panel weatherproof LCD display designed to take the rigors of exposure to outdoor environments.
The 42-inch Runco WP-42HD makes use of glass with special element-proof bonding and features high-gloss black bezel, a sealed custom aluminum cabinet and a built-in ventilation system to endow the system with cooling. Featuring a 1366 x 768 native resolution and a special internal video processing chip, the WP-42HD boasts 1080i support, impressive 178-degree viewing angle, DVI with HDCP, and computer/RGB inputs. The weatherproof Runco WP-42HD will be available next month for US $8,995.
