Most Expensive Watch - Chapter One by Maîtres du Temps in Asia

Here we’re again with most expensive watch - Chapter One from Maîtres du Temps. We’ve got a new press release “Maîtres du Temps unveils its first timepiece – Chapter One in Asia.” Maîtres du Temps, an exciting new haute horlogerie brand announces that they have completed an extremely successful ten-day tour around Asia, which is today one of the most important regions for luxury brands. The tour ran from June 10–20 and followed the global launch of Maîtres du Temps in April 2008 in Geneva, Switzerland.

Steven Holtzman, founder of Maîtres du Temps, was accompanied on the Asia tour by legendary watchmaker Mr. Roger Dubuis, one of three master watchmakers behind the creation of Chapter One. The Asian series of presentations of luxury watch Chapter One began in Hong Kong and continued on to Taipei, Singapore, Shanghai and Beijing. In each location, selected watch collectors, enthusiasts and members of the press were invited to an exclusive cocktail hour and dinner where they met with Mr. Roger Dubuis and had an intimate opportunity to examine and discuss Chapter One.

Chapter One’s tonneau-shaped case is available in a limited edition of 11 pieces each in red gold, white gold and titanium. The first models are expected to arrive in Hong Kong by September 2008 and will retail for approximately US$395,000—making it one of the world’s most expensive first timepieces from a new brand.
