Most expensive hotel: W Doha Hotel opens in November 2008

Doha, Qatar – W Hotels, the fastest growing most expensive luxury hotel brand in the world. The W Doha is owned by J&A Jaidah, principals of J&A Jaidah Holdings, one of the most well known and well respected private companies in the Middle East. W Doha Hotel and Residences opens on November 1. The luxury hotel is located in the West Bay area of Doha, and features 291 guest rooms and suites, 154 residences, several restaurants including La Maison du Caviar and Spice Market, a poolside shisha lounge, champagne bar, 1,000sqm of meeting and events space, and luxury retail outlets.

With the high-energy interiors and vivid, lifestyle driven design, W Doha will feature such prestigious brands as Jean-Georges Vongerichten, La Maison du Caviar, Teuscher Chocolates of Switzerland, W the Store by Plum, Bliss® Spa, Sweat Fitness® Center, WET® swimming pool and W’s distinctive lobby, called the “Living Room.” W Doha Hotel was designed by UK-based firm United Designers W Doha will be joined in the Middle East by a Dubai-Festival City property in 2010.
