Dunton Hot Springs resort is located on historic corner of Colorado, in 8,600 feet on the West Fork of the Dolores River in the San Juan Mountains. In the 1970s Dunton was rescued and restored into a dream vacation destination by a group of German investors. The old houses were repaired and now are offered 12 different cabins - the day and overnight packages, and even the whole town-resort can be rented exclusively for corporate retreats, family reunions and weddings.
Many of the tin-roofed, hand-hewn log cabins boast their own private hot springs; for those without, there is a large communal pool. One even has a full kitchen. The compound also includes a library, a dining room, a spa and a bath house. Dunton had no telephone service and radio signals were virtually impossible to catch in the narrow valley until the 1990s. Dunton Hot Springs is open year round! Price: between $10,000 – $17,500 per night. Via:  duntonhotsprings |
