New most expensive car by Maserati was firstly announced in Europe as Maserati GranCabrio. But for the USA, Canada, Mexico, Australia and New Zealand it was renamed into Maserati GranTurismo Convertible. This exclusive four-seat cabrio promises unique driving pleasure, luxury designed cabin and full comfort. The GranTurismo Convertible transforms easily from a high-performance coupe into a breathtaking cabriolet.
When driving up to 20 mph the fully-insulated soft-top - designed in true Maserati tradition - tucks away at the touch of a button in just 28 seconds. With the roof down, the GranTurismo Convertible shows off its stunning profile, the result of artful design of master coachbuilder Pininfarina. The sensations of power and driving dynamics is achieved through the standard light alloy 20” Maserati wheels. The GT Convertible’s chassis were developed by Maserati engineers to deliver top performance and maximum driving pleasure. The most expensive car’s V-8 engine is capable of 433 bhp and is combined with a six-speed ZF automatic transmission. Maserati dealers in the U.S. are taking orders now with deliveries to begin in early 2010. Pricing has not yet been announced. Via:  maserati |
