Officially world’s largest and most expensive yacht was renamed for 3 times by its every new owner. Originally the 531ft yacht was named Platinum 525, commissioned by Prince Jefri Bolkiah of Brunei in 1996. Then, in 2001, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, then Crown Prince and after it was called Golden Star. It was finally completed in 2006.
At the moment world’s most expensive yacht is owned by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Ruler of Dubai, who renamed it as “Dubai”. This superyacht has been believed to optimize the pleasure of cruising expedition. This 158 meter long, vessel can accommodate 24 people. The luxurious boat is priced above $300 million.
