Forget about making music – check out the Ply concept luxury phone handset from Japanese designer Hideo Kanbara. This luxury phone, inspired by the multiple layers of wooden sandwich in plywood, is of multiple slider design. It packs a printer, a digital projector, a game controller, and a widescreen touch cell phone combined to form a nice shiny package.
It’s as cool as it is impossible to build, and so KDDI labs should feel proud for making an imaginary device with so much character. I suppose current technology will have to be miniaturized even further if this Ply concept were to take off. Hopefully it will be durable as well, since it is pretty hard to get something so slim to maintain a certain standard of rigidity. Via:Â Â mobilewhack |
