Some days ago Apple released the third generation of their cult smartphone. The newest luxury phone was named iPhone 3G S. The “s” stands for speed. There will be offered 2 versions - 16GB and 32GB. 16GB iPhone 3G S is available for $200, 32GB iPhone 3G S goes for $300 with a two-year AT&T rate plan. You’ll have to pay a bit more if you’re mid-contract - $299 for 16GB and $399/$499 for the 32GB.
Although iPhone 3G S looks almost exactly like the iPhone 3G, it’s much, much faster - some tasks are almost four times faster. Data speeds are upped to 7.2Mbps HSDPA, and the camera is now a 3 MPx unit with tap-to-autofocus and auto white balance. You’re also getting a built-in compass, integrated Nike+ support, and a new battery that offers 5 hours of 3G talk time and 9 hours of WiFi internet use.
