We were among the first ones to introduce you to the gold plated MacBook Pro from Computer Choppers. They are building a one-off unit. Moreover, they offer a wide range of customizing for the laptops other than the Apple logo. Price varies as every logo customization is different. Anyway, it costs between $1200 and $1500 to 24kt gold plate a MacBook Pro. Now, they have shown some more images (check out the complete picture gallery).
The new picture is the display housing Apple logo and paint matched keyboard. They even claim that you might not have seen such a paint matched/re-etched MBP keyboard before. Their next project will probably be a 24-inch aluminum iMac.
