First Polo Game in NYC for 70 years

Historically unique event for the start of the Summer Season will be held in NYC. It’s the Veuve Clicquot Manhattan Polo Classic and is the first time Polo will be played in NYC in over 70 years. It will take place on Governors Island (Sat 31 May). Ralph Lauren’s team, Blackwatch, including Nacho Figueras - face of Polo Black and best player in the world will be playing against Asprey team.

This event brings a taste of Hamptons to NYC, it’s open to the public (free ferries run from Manhattan to Gov Island every 30 mins). Veuve Clicquot champagne bar will be open field-side during the event. Picnics are allowed around the field - match starts at 3pm.
