Combining two of my favorite things in the world, confectioners in Italy have made a life-size model of the gorgeous Ferrari F1 car using 4,405lbs of Belgian chocolate to serve a s a centerpiece for the Ferrari owners club party in Sorrento, near Naples!
The car, which was more than one year in the making, will go on display until the weekend after which it will be smashed up with hammers and served to party guests. Based on the F2008, the £12,000 chocolate Ferrari has a red edible coating and guest of the Scuderia Ferrari Club Napoli will be given bits of the car to take home after the bash.
