The “Blue Devil” is a myth no more, the once mythical Corvette has been officially revealed as the ZR1, and its a monster. Chevy isn’t just aiming its guns at the Porsches and Vipers, they’ve got their sights aimed squarely at the Ferrari and Lambgorhinis of the world.
The car is powered by the new 6.2 V8 LS9 engine which produces 620hp and 595 lb-ft of torque. Other performance features include the use of carbon fiber throughout the ZR1’s body, Michelin Pilot Sport 2 tires, Six Piston front and rear Four Piston Break Calipers, and a smoother ride through the use of GM’s adjustable Magnetic Ride Control suspension system.
