David Beckham already was a face of the world’s most famous brands, such as Armani, Adidas, Pepsi, Yahoo, Castrol, M&S, Motorola and etc. This time he decided to create a brand with his own name together with his business partner, Simon Fuller. “I have had the idea of doing a bodywear collection for some time now. The push to do something of my own really came as a result of my collaboration with Armani… They told me that their gross turnover in 2007 was around 16 million euros and after the campaign in 2008 it went up to 31 million euros in 2008. It proved to me that there is a real market for good-looking, well-made men’s bodywear.”

“It’s not my natural inclination to see myself as a brand, I’m just a person who has been fortunate to explore other interests and passions outside of the game I love,” said Beckham of his upcoming off-field ventures with Fuller. “I will always be associated with my sport but I am now working across other areas that will continue long after my career has finished.” While there is no launch date set for the clothing collection, the new scent will hit stores in September. The upcoming fragrance, called Homme by David Beckham, joins existing scents David Beckham Instinct, which launched in 2005, and Intimately Beckham, a his-and-hers duo with wife Victoria Beckham, which hit shelves in 2006.

In the photo set taken for Dereon Fall 2010 Ad Campaign Beyonce appears peppered with temporary tattoos, giving off a rocker vibe with studded leggings, spiked leather jackets, and big jeweled statement necklaces.

The Ad is extremely sensual, gorgeous and sexy! I think, Rihanna surprisingly missed that opportunity to try on the new tattoo.

Brasilian supermodel Gisele Caroline appears as a face of Roberto Cavalli’s Fall/Winter 2010/11 campaign, photographed by fashion photographers Mert Alas & Marcus Piggott. Robert Cavalli brand celebrates its 40th anniversary this year.

Eva Cavalli said: “We chose to use Gisele again because she is part model, part celebrity, and she is very special. Celebrities tend to overshadow the clothes and are fine if they appear in a house’s campaign only once in a while. It’s easier to transform models, and I think they interpret the clothes better – especially the more seasoned ones. It’s not only a question of beauty, but of character.”

A famous celebrity couple Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie is planning to buy a lot near their Chateau Miraval in France to build their own airport. They paid $60million for the 1,000-acre estate in the South of France, which features 35 bedrooms, a vineyard, lake, forest and a moat.

“One thing I love about the estate is the privacy it affords. Nobody can get near it. So with Angelina completing her pilot’s license, our own airstrip would give us total freedom to come and go” – commented Brad. The nearest airport is more than an hour’s drive from Chateau Miraval.

Yesterday famous American R&B singer, dancer, actress and designer Beyonce Knowles signed a contract with a Coty Inc., the fragrance giant. In collaboration with Coty she’s going to launch a line of her own perfumes. According to rumors, Beyonce could earn about $20 million over the next three years selling her exclusive fragrance. She is already the face of Emporio Armani’s Diamonds perfume and previously fronted the promotional campaign for Tommy Hilfiger’s True Star fragrances.

Beyonce commented: “For me, fragrance reflects a woman’s attitude and unique sense of style. While I love various perfumes, I haven’t found a scent that truly personifies me as a woman. Working with Coty, I was able to turn my ideal fragrance into a reality by creating an alluring and sophisticated fragrance; one that’s reflective of my inner power.”  Beyonce & Coty will launch their new fragrance in early 2010 in North and South America with subsequent plans to debut in Europe and key markets throughout the world later that year.
