An anniversary model, the Bovet - Pininfarina Tourbillon Ottanta, seals the partnership and celebrates the Italian industrial design firm’s 80 years in business. This exceptional timepiece is already being described as the first in a long series. In celebration of Pininfarina’s 80th anniversary, world renown for its car design and car body design, a watchmaker Bovet has created an exclusive limited edition Pininfarina Tourbillon Ottanta Watch.

The timepiece incorporates the automatic Bovet made Calibre 16BA1 Tourbillon movement with over 514 parts to it; the case is 46 millimeters wide. “We wanted to mark our 80th anniversary with a prestigious, enduring, luxury object,” Paola Pininfarina, who represents the third generation at the helm of the firm, declared. There will be available only 80 of the Bovet Pininfarina Tourbillon Ottanta watches through private order from Bovet. Price: $280,000 - $300,000.

The Porsche Club of America, founded in 1955, celebrates its 55 anniversary this year. TAG Heuer, the world’s most expensive watch manufacturer, presents
a 55-piece Monaco watch edition. Thess automatic wristwatchea include a chronograph, the equivalent of a stopwatch on the wrist. Unique Thomas Prescher Triple Axis Tourbillon Regulator watch features an 18K pink gold or platinum case, which measures 43mm x 16.5mm, a jet-black natural onyx dial, which gold-applied indices and 18K gold Dauphine-style hands. The display also includes an 18K gold-engraved name and serial number plate. Set within the dial are two counters, which separately mark the progression of regulator-style hours and minutes. On the front side it is protected by a domed sapphire crystal, treated with double-sided anti-glare coating.

The same sapphire crystal is used for the case-back. The watch is capable of withstanding water pressures down to 30 feet. A triple-axis tourbillon is extremely rare and even absolutely unique; a triple-axis tourbillon wristwatch even more so. The movement features a copper-beryllium CuBe2 balance wheel, moving back and forth at the rate of 21,600 vibrations per hour. The exclusive Thomas Prescher Triple Axis Tourbillon Regulator watch is accompanied by a hand-crafted black alligator leather strap, finished with an 18K pink gold or platinum tang buckle.
