This March Patrizzi & Co to open Timeless Emotions auction where will be presented exclusive collectors wrist and pocket watches, and clocks. Over 150 unique most expensive watches will be offered. Particularly, there will be auctioned vintage 1929 gold-and-nephrite Cartier table clock with grande sonnerie chimes.

“The table clock is exquisite. It’s extremely rare to find a large Comet clock with the grand sonnerie, moon phases and calendar,” said Osvaldo Patrizzi, president and chief executive officer of Patrizzi & Co. ArtyA Coup de Foudre 1′000′000 V watche’s movement is entirely handcrafted and assembled in Switzerland in the Artya workshops, the self-winding mechanical movement’s balance oscillates at 28,800 vibrations per hour. Endowed with incredible precision, the movement is fitted with noncircular square-shaped gears around the works of Mr. Pascal Winkler, an eminent HES Professor of microtechnical engineering at the HEArc located in Le Locle, Switzerland.

The watchcase is engraved, moulded and put through a series of severe batterings, the
case is crafted in stainless steel grade 316. Timepieces from the “Coup de foudre” collection are embossed, defaced, tortured and struck by lightning i.e.100,000 volts, 200,000 volts, 500,000 volts and even 1,000,000 volts.

Coup de Foudre 1′000′000 V watch has a water resistance up to 50 meters. Each dial is a unique work of art. Hand decorated according to 17 specific artistic techniques up to now unexploited in the watchmaking field. They combine collage, application of dyes and pigments, forging, etc. The hand-sewn strap is made of high-tech rubber combined with processed “Alzavel waterproof” calfskin or with “Crazy frog” tanned toad skin.

Swiss manufacturer Ernst Benz celebrates the Chinese New Year with launching a limited edition Peking ChronoScope. The timepiece features a noir (black) or vermilion(china red) dial with white Chinese character indexes, a 47mm stainless steel case and sapphire crystal on an alligator leather strap.

The release of both dial color versions has been restricted to just 88 pieces. Besides, the brand has issued an additional limited series of 8 items per dial, proposed with a case, crafted from black PVD-treated brushed steel. Price: $6,800.
