Most expensive Luxurious goods :

Today’s luxury home won’t appeal to everyone. Unless you enjoy Moroccan style this isn’t the place for you. If you like it though, welcome to Casa Blanca, a dramatic home located on the Carpinteria coast next to Montecito, California. This luxury estate which was finished in 1996 has a history that reaches back to the 1920s. Once inside, there is a a lighted dome with skylight above the entry The six-bedroom home has some dramatic features including a living room with 19-foot ceilings and sliding glass doors that disappear into the sides of the walls. The dining room has hidden built-in cabinets and a Murano glass chandelier. The master bedroom suite has coffered ceilings, fireplaces and a terrace. The master bath opens to a secluded patio with a tiled spa. Every bedroom has a deck or a terrace. The back of the house has 180 degree views of the ocean, islands and coast line with direct beach access. The exterior of the house is very beautiful and evocative but the home’s rather bland interior doesn’t deliver on the exotic promise of the exterior façade.

The home is one of eight in a gated enclave. This luxury property shares a tennis court and pool pavilion with kitchen. The best shared amenities is the Natatorium which was designed by famed local George Washington Smith and has historical significance. This pool house has a pool room, game room and men’s and women’s separate showers done in a Moorish style with painted arches, marble fireplace, tiled walls and floors. The most interesting feature is a sumptuous indoor pool area with elaborate mosaic tile work that is capped by a large retractable skylight. This home is listed at $12.9 million.

Today’s home has an admirable spot in Santa Barbara, California along Channel Drive. It overlooks Butterfly Beach with views to the Channel Islands and up along the sweep of the coast. It is located in a great neighborhood with easy beach access. The home itself is a bit of a question mark. Built in 1951, it’s got a modernist style but it seems a bit dated. The home has three bedrooms which are positioned for ocean views. There are cool details here, the gated elite property is entered through a large courtyard containing a two-car garageand the approach to the house is via wide pebbled stairs that appear to float above a reflecting pool lined with blue mosaic tiles, and bordered by plantings.

The living and dining areas offer floor-to-ceiling glass windows wrapped around two sides of the building with clerestory windows for added light. The entire site has been arranged for maximum privacy so there is no need for window shades. The living room is linked to a sunken dining area with a large black circular chimney hood descending from the ceiling and hanging above a circular raised fire pit. This luxury home sits on less than a half and acre and is listed at $35 million. Even for this area that’s a lot for a house that I suspect might end up being a teardown. What say you, update and expand or scrap it and start over?

This might be the most luxury house in Boulder, Colorado, it’s definitely one of the most expensive. The glass home sits on 1.24 acres and backs to the historic Chautauqua Park with views of Boulder, Denver and beyond. The two things that make this five-bedroom home so extraordinary are the ample use of glass walls, and the way that the property’s large stone features have been incorporated into the home.

The office is particularly striking with a wraparound glass table with wrought iron legs. This luxury property includes a large guest house, patios, sculpture, a small gazebo in the back yard and professional landscaping that includes a stone pathway and viewing vistas. It is listed at $21.9 million.

I’ve covered the work of Xorin Balbes before this designer does some of the coolest interior design around Southern California rehabbing older homes into showplaces. He collaborated with architect Paul Ashley on this Palm Springs dream home, a four-bedroom contemporary built in 1974. The home has a maser suite with mountain and pool views plus a gorgeous bath complete with steam shower.

There are three more suites each with a custom bath. The home is completely walled and gated which gives you privacy in your glass palace. It’s modern design heaven with soaring ceilings, high-end finishes of bleached wood, concrete, marble and glass. The outdoor space includes covered patios and a large pool area. The whole place is as flawless as a movie set and the perfect pad for entertaining. This home is listed at $3.75Â million.

Spread over 48,000 square feet, this self-effacing little chalet sitting on 140 acres is 15 minutes away from the north of Dallas Airport, Texas. Taking inspiration from numerous buildings, almost four-long years were invested constructing it. It features an indoor pool, an L-shaped outdoor pool that’s bordered by courtyard of uneven flagstones, shade trees and vast stretch of turf. An entry into this villa would make you realize the level of profligacy done on this two-story master clandestine and ballroom is evocative of Versailles.

The media room imitates the Paris Opera, equipped with theater boxes. Its 78-foot-high rotunda is pinnacled by a crows nest offering distant views. Other striking highlights of the estate include hand-carved moldings, custom-made Italian chandeliers, imported fabrics, carpets and much more. How can I forget to mention that it has no less than nine fireplaces, six bedding and 6.8 baths?

Whilst the news about World’s most expensive flat and world’s most expensive apartment was still a haute topic and fortune favors those filthy rich industrialists who have no option but to ink more pricey deals and make up to the headlines. News is a London-based estate is set to sell for £117 million; thereby earning the honor of being the world’s costliest home. The splendid residence located on a street dubbed Billionaires’ Row, is believed to be soon owned by the Britain’s richest man, steel tycoon Lakshmi Mittal.

Word is around that he would soon close exchanging contracts with owner Noam Gottesman, 47, a US-born financier. Four years ago, Mittal moved into the half-mile, tree-lined private avenue after dropping over £67 million for a 12-bedroom home.

There are two reasons that you would want to visit one of the most amazing hotel suites in the world. The first is that you want to be able to tell everyone you know that you stayed in one of the coolest hotel suites on the planet. The second is because the luxury of these places is worth the price tag that’s attached. Both of these reasons for seeking out best-of-breed hotels can be satisfied in one fell swoop by booking into any of the following rather impressive rooms. But there’s something that you should know first; you could get really used to living like this and you might not want to come home! That’s why here we’re again with these luxury hotels. I’m sure you enjoy them!

Hotel Everland: If you’re the kind of person who wants something just because very few other people ever get to have it, you’d be interested in the experience of an overnight stay at the Hotel Everland. This unique hotel room is actually an art installation which moves from venue to venue; through the end of 2008 it is located at the Palais de Tokyo art gallery in Paris.

The hotel consists of only a single room and you only get to stay in it for one night. Amenities to supplement the exclusiveness of the experience include a no-charge, fully-stocked mini-bar, access to an extensive record collection, free breakfast arriving on your doorstep and the chance to dry yourself off with golden-threaded towels. The price you’ll pay for the night is approximately 400 Euros.
