On Thursday, September 10th Riva presented to the press its latest luxury boat - Riva 86 Domino yacht. Firstly a new boat was successfully previewed to friends and clients on September 5th in St. Tropez. The event was held on the terrace of Mole Jean Reveillé. The clean lines of this dynamic 26 meter yacht immediately drew everyone’s eyes on her leaving us all speechless about her winning design. The luxury yacht has a spacious deck for sunbathing and partying and includes a dining area designed for 6.

The deck leads to the upper deckhouse which includes the living area with master cabin. Apart from the VIP cabin, the yacht also houses two twin-bedded guest cabins. The Riva 86’ Domino luxury yacht is done up in leather and the furniture upholstered in fine leather. The dominant metallic hue of the yacht gives it a subtle beauty that isn’t very shimmery. For anyone who has the dough, the 34 knot speed yacht is also done up in all the luxurious amenities necessary in this world of comfort.

This year too, Riva exhibits in Cannes its whole range: Aquariva, Rivarama, Rivale, SportRiva 56’, 68’ Ego Super, 75’ Venere, 86’ Athena and 92’ Duchessa are displayed at the stand, while 63’ Vertigo, 85’ Opera Super and 115’ Athena are moored in the sea outside the show and are joinable by guests with a vintage Aquarama put at disposal by the shipyard.

It gets power from wind, solar and Hybrid Marine Power (HMP) technology from Solar Sailor Holdings Ltd. 58m green superyacht concept uses hybrid electricity and emits zero emissions. Soliloquy Superyacht is equipped with three rigid winged solar sails, to maximize your fuel efficiency. The increased level of privacy for its 12 guests will be possible due to the novel touch-button control system of the rig, resulting in less crew.

The superstructure has been enhanced by its efficient Photovoltaic surfacing. Once all the adaptable blinds have evolved out of the overhead beam, a total of over 600 square metres of coverage will be revealed. The HMP system will allow for all renewable solar energy to be stored in the yacht’s batteries, which in turn can quietly power the onboard electrics, without the need or noise of a generator. Accumulating solar energy for 12 hours allows Soliloquy to travel at 8 knots. Solar scale model of the super green luxury yacht will be exhibited in Majorca on June 25.

Ocean Emerald super yacht was presented at Porto Lotti Marina near La Spezia in Italy on last weekend. This luxury yacht was designed by the world famous architect and yacht designer Lord Norman Robert Foster built for by YachtPlus edition of four identical luxury yachts. The next two superyachts by YachtPlus will be Ocean Pearl and Ocean Sapphire. They are planed to be launched in next two years.

Ocean Emerald extra deck’s space on a 41 metre boat is impressive with 2495 ft2 being devoted to outside space and a further 2790 ft2 available for guest and crew accommodation. The master suite set well forward benefits from stunning forward facing views and two separate bathrooms. Light wood effect deckheads, faux leather and marble veneer give the impression of luxury. Accommodation for ten more guests is on the lower deck in four similarly decorated cabins. Price: $24 million.

The super yacht and luxury boats industry has been growing and the number of superyachts also grows every day. Today I came across sensational Casino Royale superyacht. Agent 007-inspired luxury yacht was built by Millennium Yachts in collaboration with the US-based Christensen Shipyard. A line of luxury yachts is owned by yachtsman John A. Staluppi, all of which have been named after one of the James Bond’s novels. 163-feet Casino Royale luxury yacht is equipped with vertical wraparound windows in her pilothouse and high bulwarks carried aft to nearly amidships, where they blend into the deckhouse sides.

This luxury yacht is designed for a modest 10-knot cruising speed and a 17-knot top speed. Also it boasts a full-beam VIP suite and four guest staterooms, each with ensuite facilities. The master suite is forward on the main deck, replete with a double head and an adjoining office and study. AT this year’s 21st annual Miami Yacht and Brokerage Show Casino Royale superyacht was claimed the ‘Queen’ of a show. Price: about $38 million.

Le Breton Yachts’ SIG 45 boat is up for sale! SIG45 is world’s fastest sailboat. It is capable of breaking 25 knots, speed usually reserved for performance racing/sport boats, in the same way super cars fill the gap between F1 and regular automobiles. The SIG was created by VPLP with Bruno Peyron as a consultant. A luxury boat was built all in carbon at the Indian Yachting shipyard in Italia.

It’s interior was designed by superyacht designer Bjorn Johansson. He made a very comfortable and minimalist interior. Three double cabins, two fully equipped heads, galley, saloon and separate navigation station, all completed in the highest quality. Price: about $900,000.

We told earlier about the first Dubai boat show. At Dubai since 3 till 7th March, 2009 was held a Boat Show too. We’ve got some news from there. Cantieri Opera, South Italian yacht builder, presented their new 2009 Opera 53 luxury yacht at the show. Opera 53 yacht is the entry level model for the Super Rib range of this Italian builder. Opera 53 is hull built with manual technology made of aramidic fibre (Keviat) and vinyl epoxy resin.

The luxury yacht size: 16 meters length, 5,6 meters beam and looks similar to the successful Opera 60 model but has a smaller size. Inside Opera 53 offers an overnight stay accommodation, with a 4 berth single head open space loft style cabin. Power options goes from smaller 2×200hp up to 2.480hp. The luxury boat has a maximum accommodation for 35 people.
