Germany-based Blumenhofer Acoustics announces their latest elite audio speakers - Clara Luna that are described as three-way horn speakers which promise an extra quality sound. 16-inch midrange unit of Blumenhofer Clara Luna speakers was made in Japan, and the system’s titanium dome tweeter was created by Blumenhofer Acoustics themselves.

Clara Luna speakers are equipped by an entire active woofer with a diameter of 21-inches, frequency response of 16Hz to 20kHz ±2dB and sensitivity as high as 102dB, this 165 x 61 x 71cm, 200kg . Price: €95,000 (approx. $141,439).

LG Electronics, Korea, the world’s second-biggest TV brand, is going to launch their newest OLED TV in November, 2009. LG’s 15-inch OLED TV promises perfect picture quality, consume less power, thinner than widely used liquid crystal displays that need backlight and is based on Active-matrix organic light-emitting diode (AM-OLED). The world’s first OLED TV is Sony’s 11-inch XEL-1.

High price has kept AM-OLED from becoming a mass-produced technology in the market dominated by cheaper LCD panels. OLED screens are making inroads into high-end mobile phones but costs to apply the technology for PCs and TVs are still prohibitive. LG’s 15-inch OLED TV would be unveiling at the IFA 2009 consumer electric show in Berlin in September. There are no words on pricing yet.

New elite audio speakers called Illuminator were created by SGR with using from 60Hz to 40Khz drivers by high-end Danish driver manufacturer ScanSpeak. The Illuminator loudspeakers are capable of frightening dynamics yet still able to replicate the delicate and articulate sound of intimate passages.

The Illuminator midrange and woofers consist of a patent-pending motor design utilizing a compact under-hung voice coil with large neodymium ring magnets. To dramatically reduce box vibration, a self-canceling mounting structure has been implemented with the front woofers internally attached to the rear woofers. That’s four 12″ woofers per speaker, eight per system. Each of the 12″ woofers are capable of 40mm linear movement. Price:  $68,500.

Italian company Outline has recently launched new design of their elite audio speakers - Aux Level. Aux Level promises quality audio, crystal sound, creative design and all the best for great home entertainment system. Designed to complement up to 42-inch flatpanel TVs, the Aux Level speakers can be placed on the ground, mounted on your wall or everywhere you want.

The components have been rearranged and doubled up on the subwoofer section. They say that it’s not your run-of-the-mill iPod speaker but a high quality system that produces clean and extremely crystal clear sound. Pricing for the Aux Level starts at $2500, with the top of the line Aux Level Muscinelli Edition costing $3,000.

The first news about 3D TVs appeared in press in mid 2008 when the developers and designers were thinking of using 3D TV to show the 2012 Olympics and when Phillips were testing their 1080p 52 inch 3D. LG presented recently their newest 3D LCD TV
with glasses. As it claimed it is going to be a big hit all around the world they are going to make 30 million units which they plan to sell by 2012 just before the Olympics. The new 47-inch 47LH50 will be up for purchase next month in Korea at least.

Phillips and Telefonica have teamed up to also try and make a 3D TV and will be testing it in Sao Paolo in Brazil, the only problem with the TV they are going to be making is the cost which is going to be $26,000 US. They are expecting for their 3D TV to be around in about 3-4 years time.
