High-end audio brand KEF presents Blade loudspeakers, marked as a part of the 50th anniversary collection. KEF promises a combination of “innovative engineering and groundbreaking design based on a new architecture’”. Four sophisticated new bass and tremble drivers are configured so that their combined acoustic center occupies exactly the same point in space as that of the Uni-Q HF/MF array, the sound appears to emanate from a single, flawlessly coherent source.

The KEF Blade is available in standard gloss white and black finishes. Custom colours comprise Garnet, Sapphire, Grigio, Racing Red, Racing Blue, Pale Gold, Orange Sorbet, Graphite, Stardust, Lemon Sorbet, Lime Sorbet or Snow White. Bower & Wilkins introduced their first Matrix 801 speaker in 1979. B&W has continued to update the 800 range every few years ever since. This year was introduced B&W 805 Diamond loudspeaker. The 805 Diamond is a small, stand-mounted, two-way, vented-box speaker that weighs a fairly stout 26 pounds. The top-mounted tweeter pod is further isolated from the main mid/woofer cabinet through a mounting bracket that includes a synthetic gel.

Creative designer Wes Rhoad introduced a motorbike concept “Zero Moto” that runs on electric motors, located in the front and rear wheel-hub assemblies, to allow in-wheel drive, the futurist motorbike includes four wheel drive slick steering handles, an all-wheel steering system for better controls. The front and rear wheels of the bike turn opposite to each other to decrease turning radius at normal speed, while on the other hand, the wheels turn in the same direction for quick lane changes at high speeds.

In addition, the electric motorcycle comes with an on-board CPU to monitor the real-time torque control. Reducing the load on batteries with LED headlight strip and turn signals, the Zero Moto also features an LED instrument touch panel to display speed, RPM battery life and so on. Offering an estimated top speed of about 90mph and an operating range of about 200 miles, the zero-emission motorcycle can reach from 0-60mph in just 3.9 seconds.
