Tanaka Kikinzoku, jewelry brand from Tokio, in cooperation with Walt Disney Home Entertainment created an exclusive anniversary Gold Snow White and 7 Dwarfs figures. 15 jewelers were producing Disney’s heroes for around 6 months and it taken approx. 1.6 kg of pure gold.

Also there was released “Snow White Diamond Collection” of the 1937 in Blu-ray DVD. Gold Snow White and 7 Dwarfs figures are priced at 30 million yen.

American brand Mattel that produces world famous Barbie dolls decided to change their usual pink color clothes to stylish little black dresses with suitable accessories. The new edition was created in collaboration with the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) and named Barbie Basics™ Collection.

Twelve of the CFDA fashion and accessories designers have created unique Barbie dolls that accents their unique talents and tastes. These Barbie dolls are currently up for auction on eBay and all net proceeds will go to support CFDA’s educational initiatives and scholarship program. Prices range from $800 to $3,500.

Celebrity Japanese pink cat celebrates its 35th anniversary. She was born in Tokyo in 1974 when a young company Sanrio in collaboration with designer Ikuko Shimizu created such girly cat with a big head. Many artists designed sophisticated gifts to congratulate Hello Kitty with her B’day. At the Three Apples exhibition that running from October 23 to November 15 at Royal/T in Culver City, CA. SANRIO introduces all of these limited edition creations.

Such unexpected Hello Kitty portrait (shown above) was offered by an artist Jason Mecier. There were used thousands items from the Kitty world – toys, their parts, clothes, accessories to create together a giant pink Hello Kitty portrait. This is the first time that SANRIO has produced an event for the Hello Kitty fans in North America. The exhibition as well as all events will be open to the public, free of charge and will offer something for all Hello Kitty fans, no matter their age.

Robo-cat is perfect for pet-owners who have allergies and don’t want or have no time to take care of a pet. Sega Toys Japan has been producing such robo-pets like: cats, dogs and hamsters for 3 years. Their latest robotic animal is called Dream Cat Venus.

Venus robo-cat designed like a Norwegian Forest Cat is an upgrade for an older model called “Smile”. Sega Toys says it’s the right choice for people with no time to look after a real animal. Venus can move around, lay down and reacts when you touch it. The battery-powered robo cat is sized at 490×240×230mm and drops into Japanese stores July 30 (price: $110).
