Despite the World Financial Crisis, Malaysian designer Faisol Abdullah has created world’s most expensive dress! The unique dress is encrusted with 751 diamonds weighing over 1,000 carats, held together by a pear-shaped 70 carat diamond at the center of the bodice provided by jeweller Mouawad. The dress, dubbed the “Nightingale of Kuala Lumpur”, will be shown at the STYLO Fashion festival next week in Kuala Lumpur. Only 500 guests would be allowed to view the dress.

Fashion designer Datuk Jimmy Choo will provide suitable couture shoes. Actress Kavita Sidhu will be wearing this most expensive dress and shoes at the STYLO Fashion Grand Prix KL at the Lake Gardens. If the gorgeous dress is sold, 5 per cent will go to the Gaza Humanitarian Fund. Price: $30 million.

At the Paris Fashion Week, Bruno Frisoni, the creative director of the French luxury cobblers, presented to the world, as part of his “Roger Vivier” collection, luxury most expensive high heels for 30,000 pounds per pair. Dovima shoes designed by Bruno Frisoni are priced from £9,500 - £30,000.

They feature an assortment of life’s little luxuries such as 24K gold-coated mesh, semi-precious stones, jet, satin ribbons, silk chiffon, diamanté and crocodile skin fashioned into dainty rosettes. The “Dovima“, an 11cm, spike-heeled confection of gilded silk mesh and jewels, is embellished with a pair of rose pink-dyed, taxidermy birds with gold and crystal heads. They can be made-to-order – but allow between two to three months for delivery.

St. Louis’ R. Sole has announced their collaboration with Fila for their Ninety6 model, which will be sold at the shop on December 12th along with a silver and white colorway. The high top sneaker follows the trend of super high tops and features an upper of black patent leather with a crocodile pattern.

Gold accents the luxury sneaker on the tongue leading down to the toebox. The R. Sole logo is printed in gold in the back heel as well as a collaborative label inside the tongue.
