In April famous fashion designer Alexander Amosu amazed the world of fashionistas by his most expensive suit ever. Today Amosu presented a cheaper clothing version – a collection of exclusive bespoke shirts made from world’s best cotton with gold, platinum or diamond encrusted buttons at client’s choice.

Alexander says, “Even though we consider ourselves the Rolls Royce of the suit industry we also cater for those who want a simple bespoke suit starting from £3000 or a shirt that is simply fits you well without compromising on quality”. You could choose the standard model with silver buttons and spend £400 or the shirt with diamonds and spend up to £25,000. The shirts are currently on display in the show room at Apsley Store, 13 Pall Mall, London.

Summer is a hot wedding season! Keeping on the topic of weddings I’d like to draw your attention to this most expensive wedding dress from Vietnam. This unique dress is decorated with with 222 diamonds and 100 red rubies. It was created by Vietnam fashion designer Huy Vo and was presented at the Ruby Plaza trading centre in Hanoi some days ago.

The gemstone-made flower on the gown has 22 big rubies and 8 big diamonds. A big water drop-shaped ruby that symbolizes love has been used for the pistil. It took 40 days to complete this unique bridal gown. The total time spent included 56 hours for idea and production, 240 hours for selecting and processing gemstones, and 24 hours for fixing gemstones to the gown. On June 30, the first runner-up in Miss Vietnam 2008 will wear this unique dress. Price: $117,000.

On recently shown Autumn / Winter 2009/10 Louis Vuitton mens collection, which was presented in Paris, the most luxurious was officer’s tunic-style jacket made of extremely quality alligator skin with antiqued-styled gold buttons and epaulettes.

The tunic has been an integral part of regimental dress going far back in military history and today has an air of safari style about it. Elsewhere at the Vuitton presentation we were taken with the black-on-black embossed monogram luggage, shown in various styles. Louis Vuitton men’s design director Paul Helbers described the latest collection as “the traveling wardrobe of an African king”. Price: between $50,000 and $75,000.

From today the name of famous designer Alexander Amosu is connected not only with the production of most expensive luxury phones but with world’s most expensive suits too! He created most expensive suit made from one of the world’s most expensive cloths that includes vicuna and qiviuk, rare South American animal and world’s most expensive wool gathered from the Arctic muskox, which make together Vanquish II material.

It has taken 80 hours to complete with over 5,000 individual stitches equating to £14 per stitch. And the luxury additions to world’s most expensive suit are nine 18K gold and pave set diamond buttons. Amosu comments: “I firmly believe that in the wake of the recession, there is still a demand for uncompromising quality.” World’s most expensive suit will be delivered today to unknown customer from London.
