Shiseido, Japan’s largest cosmetics, fragrance, health, and beauty product manufacturers known since 1872 launches extra luxury skincare range named Future Solutions LX. Shiseido chemists create some of the most cutting-edge advances in the area of anti-aging skincare. The line is based on an important innovations in skin aging. Shiseido scientists discovered that Serpin b3, a negative factor within the skin increases when skin is exposed to external aggressors such as UV rays and dryness.

As Serpin b3 levels rise in the skin, barrier function decreases leading to an acceleration of skin aging. The scientists created an ingredient called Skingenercell 1p that suppresses the production of Serpin b3. As a result, healthy cells are created that work to restore moisture to the skin. The Shiseido Future Solution LX collection includes: an Extra Rich Cleansing Foam (£50 125ml), a Concentrated Balancing Softener (£74 150ml), Daytime Protective Cream (£205 50ml) and Total Regenerating Cream (£220 50ml).

French textiles company founded by fabric designer Manuel Canovas in 1963 produces not only bedding, swimwear, accessories, fashion but also perfume fragrances. The firm purchased by British firm Colefax & Fowler in the late 1990s launched their first fragrances in 2007 with Les Fantaisies Parfumees. Pink Riviera fragrance by Manuel Canovas from the Les Fantaisies Parfumees edition is inspired by Saint Tropez summer nights.

The fragrance’s top note is a combination of fresh and sparkling blends of Bergamot from Calabria, Italian Citron, Greek Grapefruit, Italian Mandarin, and Wild Mint. The middle note is an exotic floral blend of Egyptian Jasmine, Turkish Rose, and Indian Sandalwood. A sweet and sensual duo of White Musk and rich Amber is a base note. Price: $95 for 100ml.

Julia Restoin-Roitfeld, a daughter of French VOGUE editor Carine Roitfeld, became a face of Jil by Jil Sander perfume. The 28-year old Julia has already taken part in the ads from such fashion labels as Mango, Restoration of the Monarchy denim brand, as well as face for Tom Ford’s Black Orchid.

The perfume fragrance was developed by Olivier Polge and Bruno Jovanovic and is said to be an elegant, feminine, floral in the beginning and amber scent in the finish. Its top notes include pink pepper, mandarin and lavender. Jil’s heart shows lily of the valley, iris and heliotrope, while a base is composed of vanilla, musk and amber.
