Guerlain perfume house launches its newest unisex La Cologne du Parfumeur fragrance, the fifth in the Guerlain’s perfume collection. It was created by a perfumer Thierry Wasser. The fragrance opens with the traditional orange blossom, lemon and bergamot top notes, but reveals green, musky notes that are distinctly more original.

Monsieur Wasser has combined a sparkling cut grass note with Galbanum oil, a plant found in Iran that is used in perfumery by cutting its roots to access the plant’s resin. La Cologne de Parfumeur is fresh, green, citrus and ever so French; tres on trend and the embodiment of the green, clean, citrus fragrant vibe for warmer weather. La Cologne du Parfumeur can also be used in a combination with any other scent. Guerlain La Cologne du Parfumeur available in 4 sizes: 100, 250, 500 and 1000 ml.

We’ve reported earlier about Beyonce and Coty Inc. perfume deal. American R&B star’s debut fragrance, Heat, has already earned around $3 million in the first month after its launch. 72,000 bottles were sold in a single hour when Beyonce visited Macy’s, where Heat is exclusively sold.

Heat fragrance is a warm floral mix with top notes of red vanilla orchid, magnolia, neroli and blush peach. Perfume is offered in three sizes, as well as a sparkling body lotion. Price: between $39-$59.

French perfume brand The House of Creed that celebrates its 250th Birthday this year reduced to change a unique composition of their famous Vintage Tabarome fragrance which was created in 1875. The reason is trivial - earth’s changing climate that makes impossible to find above 60 natural necessary ingredients and save an original formula.

Creed decided to stop all production rather than supply an inferior composition. Fortunately, 50 bottles from the personal reserve of the president of Creed North America still exist. Eva played a large role in the creation of the scent, according to Jerome Falic, chief executive officer of Duty Free Americas. “Eva was involved from Day One with all aspects of the project,” he said. “At the end of the day, it’s about Eva. She wanted something different, so we designed quite a few different versions.” Allergy-neutral perfume contains hints of citrus, bergamot tea, jasmine, and freesia. Eva by Eva Longoria perfume will be available nationwide this spring.
