Parrot have teamed up with designer Philippe Starck to create a new set of wireless elite audio speakers. Zikmu is a set of 2.5 feet tall speakers that use Bluetooth to communicate with each other. They apparently broadcast sound 360° arround the room thanks to Parrot’s NXT technology, which uses an extra-flat mebrane to create small-scale vibrations across the speakers’ entire surface.
Zikmu elite audio speakers incorporate an iPod/iPhone dock together with WiFi and Bluetooth; the latter is used both to stream audio from mobile devices such as cellphones using A2DP, and to connect the two speaker columns themselves together. Price: $1,500. Via:  gizmodo |
