Loudspeaker builder Magico introduces a new Q line of elite audio speakers. Magico Q5 speakers will be the first from the range of aluminum-bodied loudspeakers. Floorstander Q5 speakers fit into the Magico range above the V3 and below the M5. The Q5 are far lower cost than their previous all aluminum speaker, the M6, despite the Q5 uses newer technology drivers and enclosures.
Speaker’s inverted-dome design is claimed to extend ultra high frequency response past 50kHz, with lower distortion levels and higher transmission speeds than Magico’s first tweeter, the MR-1 ring radiator. The Q Series is kind of a culmination for Alon Wolf and his partner Yair Tammam. Price: $54,000 per each pair.
