The luxe motorboat designed by Ostrea Marine with Parisian luxury leathergoods maker Lancel, which debuted at the recent Paris Boat Show, has gone on sale in a limited edition of 25 with a $236,000 pricetag. The 25-foot “Le Nantucket” is designed to adapt the amenities of a classically-designed luxury yacht to a craft suitable for use on rivers and lakes.

The 120-h.p. diesel engine enables the vessel to hit 25 knots, and it comes equipped with a canopy, chemical toilet and the usual nautical knickknacks. The real beauty of the boat however lies in its interior and detailing, including the kind of leatherwork usually only found on an Hermès bag. Complimenting the abundance of wood, leather and chrome are LCD displays, a Bose sound system, and an integrated iPod so you can cruise to your favorite tunes.

Ask travel freaks: What gives immense pleasure to their soul? And obvious repartee would be undergoing a cruise and exploring the hidden geographies. But little were they aware that they would get a chance to enjoy a luxurious trip at the Amazon until a company called Aqua Expeditions came up with one. A province was formerly impervious to the trinkets of 280-thread-count sheets and en-suite air conditioning. The company’s boat dubbed as the M/V Aqua looks like a suspended boutique lodge with a dining room, indoor and outdoor reclines and a surveillance deck and boutique. Developed and designed by Peruvian architect Jordi Puig, this vessel has eight groups and four master suites that feature huge windows, thereby offering its inhabitants a 180-degree view of the waterway landscape.

Voyages on this yacht are typically planned around the swamped season that fall between June-November and dry season between December-May. These tours are for three, four and seven nights and begin in Iquitos, Peru. It offers a pre-dinner cocktails fun to its customers in the under-sky lounge followed by a Peruvian food cooked by one of Lima’s hottest chefs! It would cost you $1950 per person or more depending upon the facilities asked for.

Here’s another series of luxurious handsets that Vertu has come up with for its 10th anniversary this year. , the luxury handset maker has unveiled its “Rococo Constellation,” also in honor of its first decade, following the “Monogram Constellation” that did the same thing. As indicated by its name, the new collection was inspired by the French design movement of the 18th century, according to Sybarites. Having created such specimens as the $310,000 “Signature Cobra,” it’s not surprising that Vertu is a brand that isn’t afraid to celebrate itself.

To that end funnily enough these models seem subdued considering their maker and mission. On closer inspection, however, the “Sapphire Edition” of the collection features cabochon sapphire screws, as well as a center stone button. So while they are not as flashy and don’t look as rich as the previous lines they are consistent in terms of quality and command the brand’s name.
