When the jeweller created this amazing pink Faberge egg, he gave free range to his imagination. Every hour a diamond-set cockerel pops up from inside and flaps its wings four times. It then nods three times, making a crowing noise as it opens and shuts its beak.
Valentin Skurlov, Russia’s leading Faberge historian cited that this unrecorded egg is on the level of an Imperial Egg in terms of quality. Faberge has made 50 Easter Eggs for the Imperial family from 1885 to 1916. Some eggs have also been made for affluent, non-royal clients. Via:   fine-diamond-jewelry |
